DAVID MANUEL

Born to an onion farmer in Walla Walla, WA, David Manuel sold his first pieces of art at the age of three and was formally recognized by Norman Rockwell at the age of nine. In this nearly eighty-year-long legend, David has been nationally recognized as the official artist of the John Wayne Foundation, the U.S. Marshals, and the Oregon Trail, all while laying the foundation of an incredible community of artists in Wallowa County.

Called to something new, David was joined by his family in the restoration of the historic Hot Lake Springs, located outside of La Grande, OR. With that mission completed, he has returned to The Gem at Ruby Peak: Enterprise.

After decades of service to his communities, David and his family have returned to Wallowa County to continue his life's work: creating world-class art and preserving history for everyone to enjoy.

Join us in Enterprise to see history preserved in the museum and the world preserved in bronze.
